Let’s beat NCDs

On 27 September 2018, the United Nations General Assembly will hold a High-level meeting to review national and global progress achieved on the control and prevention of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

It’s important to raise awareness of the impact of NCDs since they are a major cause of mortality worldwide. We need to urge governments to increase their commitment to improve the lives of people affected by noncommunicable diseases and to make prevention and control of NCDs a priority.

During the next two weeks I will be posting some news and facts about NCDs, what they are, how they can be prevented and addressed.

Together let’s beat NCDs!
